As an editor and writing coach, I help scholars see their important, innovative, fascinating research through to publication.

Most of my clients are early to mid-career academics conducting qualitative research in the social sciences, including all subfields of Medical and Cultural Anthropology and Sociology. Others are in humanities or interdisciplinary departments, studying sex and gender, race and ethnicity, regional and indigenous histories, philosophy, ethnomusicology, and so on. I also work with clients reporting the results of quantitative or mixed methods research in fields such as Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, Ecology, Ethnobiology, Public Health, Education, and Political Science.

One of my gifts is for understanding the various logics of academic writing as taught in different parts of the world.

I have assisted many international scholars in adapting texts for their intended readerships in English-language publications, and have extensive experience with authors from or conducting research in Southeast, East, and South Asia and throughout Oceania, as well as Southwest and Northwest Eurasia, Africa, and the Americas.
